How to Clean Ring??

Hi Ladies!!

I know I've seen this post on here awhile ago - but I can't seem to find it now!

What are the ways you clean your ring to get it all pretty and sparkly?? Without having to take it to the jewelers of course :-)

Julie swears by Scrubbing Bubbles.  I've used it myself and it does work. I use a toothbrush to get in between prongs.

Yes, I love Scrubbing Bubbles.  Spray some in a dixie cup and throw my ring in there while I clean the bathroom.  By the time I'm done, I just rinse whatever is left off with a soft-head tooth brush and VOILA...sparkle.

I use dishwashing detergent (non-citrus kind) (palmolive to be exact) soak it in the gel for a few hours and brush with toothbrush- same kind of deal.

Oh wow!! The aerosol can kind?? It works and doesn't hurt the ring?? I've never heard of that!!!

Yes, I just spray it in a cup...it foams up to the top, I drop in the ring, and it dissolves in a couple minutes.  It seriously works wonders.

I use eyeglass cleaner. It works wonders!

I use an old toothbrush and laundry detergent.  Clean it up while the washing machine fills up.

I get my ring cleaned once a month at Jared where we bought my ring. If I need to clean it at home, Julies method works wonders.

I also use the scrubbing bubbles since Julie recommended it. Works great, as well as the jeweler doing it. I also use an old toothbrush to clean in behind the prongs, then roll up the corner of a small piece of toilet paper to dry behind the prongs.
