Hey ladies (and gents if there are any on here)

I've been lurking for a while now and decided to come out of hiding! So...hey!

My name is Gina, FH is Bryan. I am an admin by day, and a law student by night. B is an intern architect, who is 2 months away from getting his Masters degree. We are getting married August 20,2011 at Bay Pointe Golf Club in West Bloomfield, Our colors are purple and silver!

The honeymoon is in Vegas. Its a quickie because we have to get married in between my semesters...but we didn't want to wait until I graduated so...there's that!

Ask me stuff! Looking forward to chatting with you all! Hope your Friday evening is wonderful!!! Smile

    Yes ma'am. We will be staying at the MGM. It should be an adventure. I've only been to Vegas once- Bryan's never been. So it should be an adventure!

    So... May 1st?!!! WOW. I'm sure you have it all under control...No sweat right? Wink

    Good morning,

    Thanks for all of the welcomes!

    Eveything is moving along smashingly. We are still looking for a photographer, but other than that, all of the big items are planned.

    I'm in the process of making our programs and centerpieces. I think that's all of the DIY we have in mind. I will try to post a picture when they are done.

    Welcome Gina! Love to hear local brides' stories.

    I'm an August bride as well, 8/27. You can see more info in my bio/blog below.

    Not sure what the MGM is like now, it's been years since I went to Vegas. I will highly recommend the pool at the Hard Rock though. I went there years ago and met up with a friend to see Bruce Springsteen at the Thomas and Mack Arena, which is walking distance from  the Hard Rock.

    Eminem was at the Mack arena the night before Springsteen. The Hard Rock was FULL of celebrities lounging around the pool area. The "pool" is a pool on one side, a beach on the other.

    You can rent cabanas, not sure of the price, etc. It's a really cool hotel, but the pool is the best part, LOL.

    Welcome Gina! I just came out of hiding this past week too and my colors are also purple and silver. Plus you're getting married on my birthday!
