Help Needed- No Shower/Registering?

Long story short, I am getting married in Vegas this April. There will only be a few attending the wedding.  I am not having a bridal shower.   I will have my reception this July.  Do I still register?   And if so, when is the proper time to do so?

Well, my guess would be around the time of your wedding..people may want to still mail you a gift.

You don't need to register, but if you're having a reception it makes sense to do so.

If I were you I would register.  That way the people that will be attending the reception have some direction on what you and your spouse-to-be need.  People usually end up giving money, but others really like to wrap a nice gift to give.  If you don't register people may end up purchasing things that you either don't need or don't care for.  In the end it will save you time on having to return items.  Plus when they come to visit and ask if you use their gift you won't feel bad for returning.  Good Luck! Smile

Congrats on the Vegas wedding! Some people think it's just a shotgun wedding, but an old coworker of mine spent $300 on a wedding in Vegas, had the film of her camera developed at CVS (since it was before the popularity of digital cameras) and she never regretted a thing!

    - I definitely agree with what PP said about not having to worry about returns later. Plus, how are you not excited to use the scanning gun?! ;-)

    Best of luck!
