Non-traditional Reception Venue in Metro Detroit area

Hi fellow brides! We're looking for an indoor venue that's not a country club or hall-something different and unique. Will bring our own caterer etc.  Expecting around 150-175. Basically, looking for something that is not traditionally used for weddings. We thought about renting a warehouse or similar but who knows. Please post ideas that come to mind. Thanks!

How about the Belle Isle Casino or Metro Beach Glasshouse?

Brides on this board have had beautiful weddings at both of these places.

I saw some really cool pictures online from a wedding at Indian Springs in White Lake.  I even went out to see it as a possibe venue for our wedding...we liked it a lot and it is reasonably priced.  But, they don't offer the option of having a sit-down/plated meal.  So it didn't work for us.

But I thought it was a really neat place.

Depending on the size of the guest list, the Detroit HIstorical Museum or Gossin Museum could be really cool venues.  Unfortunately neither worked for us because there wouldn't be enough room for our reception.
