Hi Ladies,
Just a quick update, I called my FSIL last night and asked her to be in the wedding party, she said she was surprised and said yes. I explained that I had wanted to ask her months ago when I had asked her for help with favors etc., but, I was waiting on FI to pick his groomsman. She understood and will be coming up this weekend to pick out dresses. I think that since I had asked her months ago to help with the wedding, she realizes that I really did want her included and FI was the hold up...
I think this comes at such a good time for her as well. Last week her son (youngest) went off to the Merchant Marine Academy for 4 years while her daughter is over in Japan this semester as a foreign exchange student. She's been feeling pretty down and unmotivated (empty nest), so I think this is just what she needs to get herself back in the swing of things and help her be a bit distracted.
And for me, now I get a bigger wedding party, extra help and two great women to help share in the best thing thats happened to me in a long time.
I'm so excited, FSIL agreed
We're shopping for the dresses on Sat.
The Wedding is 3 months from today!
YEAH! I can't Wait
