invitation vendors/stores

so we need to order our invitations in the next month or two and i'm starting to look but i'm under-impressed with what i've seen online. the inexpensive ones are just cheap looking, and the nicer ones are way too expensive. looking for a moderatly priced invitation, maybe $500 or so with the reply cards and envelopes for about 100 invitations.

where is everyone getting the invites from? any local stores or are most people ordering online?

try etsy. i've seen some great invitations on there and its cheaper than professional businesses.

I've been working with my girl for over a year now (on all different projects not just invitations) and she has been a doll. She recreated my invitation for me because I just wasn't happy with the first design(it wasn't hers, another knottie and my tastes just changed). I was in the same boat...i used 1st-class-wedding-invitations.com....mine was the jean m modern leaf...great quality, wonderful to work with and came in a week!!!!!

I used evenstarpaperie.com. Her prices are extremely reasonable compared to what I have found and she is very responsive to e-mail. She also holds weekly contests to win upgrades on your invitations! It's a great deal!
