Money & Item Exchanges - How Does it Work?

How are you exchanging your for sale items for payment? 

I know if the person is local, that makes it a lot easier.  But, if the person is out of town - do they pay you and then you ship the item?  Do you open a paypal account?

    So, that sounds good.  Does paypal charge a fee to the seller?  I guess it doesn't hurt to open an account.  Thanks fo rthe advice! :)

    I always use Paypal.  It's the safest way.  There is a bit of a fee if they use their credit card or something, but nothing major.

    And always make the seller pay you before you ship the item.
