Hi brides, here is why I'm posting. My aunt has had to move to assisted living and I am dealing with...EVERYTHING. There are two services for 12 in her house (with assorted serving pieces, salt and pepper, a gravy boat, etc.) one is hers, Image Gallery Corinth, here's a pic:

She bought it in 1967, and if you can find a chip, good luck -- it is in beautiful condition. Same goes for my mother's china, service for 12 with assorted serving pieceswhich was also at her house, she was married in 1949 and only lived another 18 years, and it wasn't used until I used it for the first time, in 1978! It's US Zone, Heinrich H&G Selb, Bavaria Germany. Keep in mind that both sets were owned by women who went balistic if you broke a glass that you got free from Shell with a full tank of gas, so everything is barely used and in excellent condition.

I'm asking $400 for the Corinth and $750 for the Heinrich. They'd have to be bought in person and in cash -- house is located near the Meadowlands in New Jersey, only about 11 miles from Midtown Manhattan. You would have to pack it and move it yourself, and it's you break it, you bought it, while examining it. I have to keep the assisted living bills paid, but I also need to get on with my life and I want to see these things going to couples that are just starting out, and I understand a lot of brides are bypassing good china because of the cost, so I think this works for everyone. Let me know if you're interested,
