    Venue- New York Country Club- A
    The grounds were absolutely beautiful. They only hold one event at a time so the place was basically ours for the entire day and evening. We had our ceremony on the terrace (outdoors) even though it rained. The terrace is covered with a modern construction and special lighting. The food was great; everyone complimented the horduerves as well as the entrees. The bridal attendant, Ellen, went above and beyond, she even took extra flowers and made our cocktail terrace look like a dream. She solved any issues with ease. Also, my mom lives in Florida and only got to see the venue once before the wedding. We walked around the venue and talked about room arrangement for over an hour and the owners were like "Stay" and didn't rush us out. I thought that was nice; the maitre'd wasn't there that day. They also offered DH and I to come back on a sunny day and take more pics.

    The only reason he's not getting an "F" is because he showed up. He called me at the hotel on the morning of the wedding day to say he forgot to add $1,200 to the bill, AFTER we made our final payment. There were a mess of issues with him; he just couldn't be trusted.
