Alfred Angelo Dream in Color 1193 Wedding Gown in Ivory and Claret.
Claret is a rose red, not a bright fireengine red. Alfred Angelo's Ivory is only slightly off-white in color.
It is constructed of satin, silver metallic embroidery with iridescent bicone beading, rhinestones and sequins. It has a semi-cathedral train. The bust area has pleated satin material in red, and the train itself is completely red in color. The cap sleeves are mesh with embroidery.
This dress has been altered! I usually measure 40 30 40 something, it tends to fluctuate. The optional cap sleeves were sewn on, but could probably be removed easily by a seamstress. Size D cups were sewn in the dress so I wouldn't have to wear a bra as it has a low back. It has boning in the torso area to hold the dress up and a zippered back. It has a color coded 7 point bustle which basically flips the train up inside the dress making it look like a ballgown (very easy to bustle -- took my maid of honor less than 5 minutes to bustle and she'd never seen the dress bustled before). It was hemmed in the front to allow for my 1" heels (I'm 5'6" tall), but I could have easily gotten away with wearing taller heels. The bust was taken in at least two inches on each side.
I wore this probably a total of 12 hours, including all the fittings and the wedding ceremony and reception. I have not had it cleaned or preserved yet. There is a very small stain on the front bottom hem of the dress, but it's not visible unless you're inspecting the dress very closely for flaws. The dress is in wonderful condition - needs a light cleaning and a good pressing.
This dress has been stored in a temperature and humidity controlled room in a pet-free and non-smoking home!
