Finding the perfect Maternity Bridesmaid dress is not easy! When we found this dress in the Melissa Sweet 2010 collection everyone was happy. Its delicate chiffon, floor length dress with spaghetti straps and V neckline and back was easily made to fit my 8 1/2 month pregnant bridesmaid. The color, Cabernet, is a flattering purple and looks great on any skin tone (we had a variety in my wedding party). Not to mention it works for a summer wedding like mine, Fall, Winter or Spring. The original dress size is an 18, while the dress was altered the material was not actually cut from the side seams, enabling someone to take the dress out again if necessary. So it could also be considered a Plus Size dress. There is one small tear and the very hem line in the back of the dress, It looks like a heel may have gone through it. The tear is clean and could easily be stitched without notice.
Measurements: Height w/ heels 5'8". Bust 41". Waist (Maternity) 41". Hips 20.5"
This dress retails for over $300, we are asking $175.Since this bridesmaid is normally more like a size 8 it seems like a shame to let it sit in the closet. It has been cleaned and is ready to go.
