Videographer Recommendation

Does anyone have a recommendation for a videographer in the tri-state area (getting married in Nyack). And what is a good price to pay? I've seen anything from 900-2000. I don't want to pay over-price but I'm also willing to dish out a little more for quality. What is normal for pricing with videographers in the tri-state?

My brother just used Videoccasions and their video came out amazing. Their basic package is about $900, and can go up to $2800 I believe. My brother's package was $2500, this included 12 hours of coverage (getting ready that morning all the way til the end of the night). They made them photo montages of baby pictures and them growing up for the father/daughter dance and the mother/son dance. They also had a summary video that was like 4 minutes that they showed after the cake cutting towards the end of the night that had clips of them getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception all set to music. It was edited so well I can't figure out how they had it ready so quickly.

We used Majestic Studios and their packages started at $1799. We got the package that was $1999.

A few years ago my sister used Best of Times video. and they were about the same.

Halo Video gets mentioned here a lot and I think they are less expensive. (Like maybe around $1000)

And also check Digital Weddings. They also do video.

I used Halo Video... they did a good job a for an extremely good price. They are also doing my best friend's wedding. I highly recommend Jose especially.
