Wedding day timeline!

Hey Ladies,

Does anyone have a sample wedding day timeline they are using?  I have found a couple online, but was wondering what everyone else is using?

My suggestion would be to talk to your photographer first. He/She most likely has been doing this for a very long time and will be able to help you structure most of your day.

After I did that, I talked to my hair stylist and make-up artist and worked out a schedule with them and between those 3 vendors I was able to put together most of my day.  Then you can fill in the blanks from there!

i asked my make up and hair people when they were coming so that i could have the girls be there in time...then the photo and video guy said when they were coming...we had a very relaxing time...never felt rushed...i wasn't even dressed when the photog showed up LOL...but it was all fine and no one felt like "oh my god we have to go"

My photographer has set the timeline for me.  My makeup artist was the one who suggested I check with the photographer and when I asked her she had a plan all ready to go over with me already.

It may be *my* first wedding, but it's definitely not the vendors' first!  :)

Talk to your photographer and work backwards from there. Mine said he would be at the house a little before 1pm. Made hair appt for 9am and makeup for 10. Figured we'd leave at 11. Didn't leave until 12:00. Got home at 12:15. Photographer showed up at 12:45. I wasn't dressed, I wasn't organized. But it worked out ok.(It was chaos for the next day though!)

But everyone asked why my hair appt was so early. If I had made it 10, we never would have been on time.

Ask photographer when he or she will get to your house. And ask hair and makeup how long it will take. And add in extra time!

    GL!
