Hi there!
My husband and I were married one week ago today!!! I really splurged on this $1140.00 brand new gown of my dreams. I reasoned that I would never wear it again, therefore sell it after the wedding.
when shopping for the perfect gown, my criteria was that I wanted to be "not white", super flattering, and it had to move!! like ginger rogers spinning and twirling. but not a big poof ball, more like light silk that would lay flattering on me, but would also float when I wanted it to. when I tried this gown on... it was love at first sight! Not to mention first twirl! I had to have it!!
this dress is beyond describing. it was PERFECT!!! all day people stopped , stared, asked me where I got it, compliments galore!
People told me it was sexy, classy, timeless, yet stylish and sexy. I couldn’t agree more. It sparkled with Swarovski crystals, and the intricate, delicate flowers are so exquisite.
The official description…
“ One-piece, strapless, A-line gown with lace-up closure. Scattered handmade flowers add a marvelous 3-D effect to this graceful Imperial Chiffon gown. Asymmetrical ruching extends into a slightly dropped waist, then introduces a gathered, full circular skirt.”
its official color is "oyster". something like champagne. it is made with the most creamy, buttery chiffon. doesn’t wrinkle...at all.
I am a size 0- 2- 4, and this drawstring back hugged me perfectly!
I am 5’4” and my heels were about 2.5 in high. It was hemmed in the front (taking about 3 inches off) only in the front. the back was bustled.
Because ours was a catholic wedding, I needed some kind of shoulder covering. My seamstress used those few inches she cut off in the front to make little cap sleeves, which if you’re not a big fan of, you can easily take off.
Because it is now used, and I had it hemmed and bustled, im reselling it for $800 OBO.
