Help...I can't find a makeup artist.

I hope someone can help me.  I live in Sullivan County, NY (2hrs northwest of NYC) and am having trouble finding a makeup artist.  The closest ones I can find are an hour or more away which is not practicle on the day of my wedding.  The ones that will travel to me want to charge an arm and a leg to get here.  Oh and I forgot to mention, doing it myself is not an option.  I never wear makeup and when I do it just doesn't look right.

    Did you try Jill of JKFlashy?? She's wonderful but I don't know what she charges for traveling that far.

    Bella Trucco (Tara) is out of Newburgh, I haven't had my trial with her yet so I can't say for sure how much I recommend her. But worth a shot, might be closest one to Sullivan! 845-863-9977 or tara@bellatrucco.com
     
    next thing I might suggest it contact Middletown Beauty School or something?

    Is there a mall in your area?  I would try going to the makeup counters there and see if any of the girls will come to you that day.

    JK Flashy is great. She does require you ($200) and at least 4 girls($85 each) during wedding season. There is a $75 travel charge unless you have more than 4 girls. She does airbrush makeup, I did a trial with her recently. Very good, but for me a little pricey but if you have it in the budget I  recommend her.

    I believe my friend used Ciao Bella Salon for her wedding and she looked beautiful.  They are in Campbell Hall, couldn't hurt to maybe do a trial?  http://www.ciaobellasalon.biz/forthebride.html
