I'm excited to now officially be a hudson valley bride! We just booked Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle for Aug. 26, 2011. I feel like it's for real now. It was love at first sight for me and Glen Island but I wasn't sure how to fit it in the budget. After countless visits and phone calls we managed to work it out. I will have to scale back on invitations, flowers, etc. but it's worth it!

Congrats!! The same thing happened to me. We weren't looking to spend as much at our venue but it was so nice and I had to have it so we figured we'd find a way.

Good luck with everything, that's a major check on your list of to-do's.
