So, I committed one of the major bride faux pas's. I rushed into buying a dress since I am a type A personality and I have a checklist and I love checking things off. Well, needless to say - it wasn't the dress for me. I found another one, just a month later and it is absolutely perfect for me. The original dress is gorgeous & it even made my FMIL cry - it just didn't feel like me. I am hoping that it will find its bride though. It is a Priscilla of Boston dress from her Vineyard collection. It is the Lynette one. It is a strapless silk taffeta gown with a sweethart neckline. It features beautiful Trapunto stiching throughout which gives it a simple, but unique detail that not many other dresses have. I am a street size 8 and it fits me perfectly without any alterations. I am 5'8" and it is the exact length with a 3" heel on (about 60" from hollow to hem). Priscilla of Boston is going out of business so they are selling everything. This dress was a new sample at the Short Hills location. It was never a floor sample. It is in the original bag with the original tags on it. I only tried it on in the store and it has been in the bag since. I purchased it for $1000, but I really just want it to find a good home so I am taking a hit on this. I am willing to ship as well to a bride in the USA (within reason).
Here are the details of the dress on the site
