looking for an affordable florist in Boston

hey everyoneI am looking for a florist that is affordable (meaning cheap) in Boston. I don't know anything about flowers so please help!! How much do florists generally cost in Boston? Thanks!!!

I looked into both Jen Cahill of The Tangled Web (reasonable, very creative, works with your budget) and a small shop called The Candy Jar/Designs in bloom in Pembroke. while Jen's work is truly outstanding and she was lovely on the phone, I ultimately went with The Candy Jar. Their work was just as creative and much less expensive even than Jen's reasonable prices. They will work from your pictures or create a floral design scheme based upon the descriptors you provide for your wedding. All bridal party flowers (4 BM bouquets, bridal bouquet, 2 nosegays, one corsage, 10 bouts), ceremony (three large arrangements and pew bows with fresh ivy), and reception flowers (including ten mid-height centerpieces) are about $900. We're using roses, hydrangea, lyssianthus (sp.), delphinium, and greenery. Love, love, love my florist.

Check out Olympia Flower Store on Washington St. Joe will work with you to figure out what is in your budget. What is cheap to you? That's kind of relative... Cheap could be 500 or cheap could be 5000.

I doubt her delivery fee would be all that much. Cambridge really isn't that far away.

hey thanks for the replies. I checked with Jen from the tangled web and she is already booked on my wedding date. I will contact the candy jar but any other affordable florists? Under 1000 would be great. Thanks

Phil Bowler is AMAZING and very well priced and will work with your budget check him out he is located in Merrimac MA and the place is called Bowler and Jones Florist, good luck!
