NWR: Cheap Movers--Small Job?

I have to hire someone to move a couch and chair from Barnstable, MA to Dover, MA. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks!

Not sure about a small move like that, but for moving our apartment Gentle Giant was *twice* as much as others.  They are good, but they are not cheap.  We used Precision Moving (www.precisionmoving.com) and they were AWESOME!  I found them on yelp.com, where they get rave reviews.  I've had 2 friends use them based on our recommendation and they were also very happy.  And they were literally half the price of Gentle Giant. For just a couch and chair, might be cheaper to just rent a truck and do it yourself.  Good luck!

Thanks so much--will look into both places. (I live in NYC, so can't be there to move--plus, after I learned that my Dad ruined his back when he was 30 moving something, I vowed to never let my DH move anything (nor myself). I've seen my Dad in too much pain for too many years.

Ha, that is so funny--I didn't realize it either! I am on UWS (though am moving at some point, as DH lives in Providence). How about you?
