Totally off topic

I know this isn't a wedding topic, but you girls are so helpful with everything else. My laptop just stopped working on me. The lights to the key board go on and I hear the fan, but the screen stays blank. Does anyone know what the issue is or know someone to bring my laptop to? My IT department at work is awful and I don't know if I should trust electronic stores IT departments like Geek Squad. I'm from the North Shore area, if anyone can recommend someone to bring it to that would be great. Thanks!

When my laptop crashed I brought it to Best Buy and I was happy with them. My hard drive had died but they were able to pull my data off of it (thank goodness since I was in the middle of working on my dissertation!). Their charges were a little pricy, but at the time I just needed my laptop fixed. HTH!

I have used www.visitinggeeks.com - (978) 346-4087 a few times, they will come right to you or I believe you can have them take it to be fixed.  They are fairly priced.

I had the same thing happen to me in college....What kind of laptop is it? I had a dell...What it ended up being was the light in the monitor...It "blew" as the guy termed it and when I brought it to be fixed, he said it would have costed approx. $500. You can check it though if you have a tv or monitor hookup from your laptop to the subsitute monitor. If you can see the screen on that they it is likely your light.
