The Pros?

Just wondering if anyone has used The Pros for their videographer/dj and if you would recommend them? Also, if there are any specific people from the company you would recommend? Thanks so much!

I can't help with recs, but I think the pros get bad reviews here.

My sister used them as a photographer and IMO I think they pics were sub-par. My parents have a huge yard (where we took BM and family pics with the bride) and they used ONE spot...in which the sun was in our eyes the whole time. After the ceremony when she took pics with her new husband, her cathedral veil was all over the place and I felt like they didn't take the time to straighten it out, nor did they attempt to make all the WP look uniform, as in the way we stood and how we held out flowers. Overall I think the candids looked good, but all the outdoor formals were not that great...

Ditto jkepros.   If you tell us your budget, we can definitely come up with better suggestions for those vendors. :o)

I used them for photography and video. The Photographer was absolutely and unbelievably awesome. Our pictures came out great and we had the edited proofs by the time we got back from our honeymoon. The video was alright. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I did them both because the combined cost was almost like getting the the video for free. I would highly recommend our photographer, John Hazelton. I was also happy the company did a great job getting all our pictures and everything to us quickly and well done.

I think one of the issues I've seen in the reviews is that when you choose a specific photographer, videographer or dj, they can and do switch it at the last minute, so you have no idea what you're getting. I've also seen reviews where the vendor was a no show. I think if you go on wedding wire, com, there is a review from a photog that used to work for them.
