the Harding Allen Estate...

...is apparently so hard up for business that they have to post on totally irrelevant threads. *side eye at imperial girl*

She posted on like 10 random posts about the Harding Allen Estate and how great it is.  She's on my e-ring post, the 9-11 post, the big shower post and a bunch of others.

Awww really?  I really liked the place based on their website while we were searching for a venue but the location was just too far for us.

*sigh* when will vendors ever learn?

I attended a wedding there, and as a guest it certainly wasn't the most enjoyable. Also, there are signs upstairs that if you are staying there (i guess it's also a B&B) you have to leave your room open so guests can use your bathroom. not cool.

Well thanks for the kind words.I'm layed up with a broken leg and can't go to work, so my friend suggested i learn to blog. I didn't know what to blog about, so my friend said, what do you know about? Have you ever written on any boards before? The people there are ususally nice and you can chit chat without having to leave the house, pefect for someone with a cast.I said, well, i reviewed my wedding...and voila! I don't know about you, but I spent a year and a half planning my wedding, it kinda consumed my life, so its really the thing I knew best to start with. She said, ok, start there, but don't give advice you don't know how to handle (like mother-in-laws and bf problems) just start with what you loved most about your wedding, which was my reception. So i went back on the knot to tell people how happy i was (4 years and going strong!) about my wedding day. The Harding Allen really made my day great. Any other bride who had a great day and liked where she got married will brag about the place and how much she loved it. What's wrong with that?Ok, so maybe I was a little over enthusiastic (my friend had to even explain to me that writing in all CAPS, was a no-no, but i got in a post before that info) in my postings, but when you can't get out of the house, you get pretty bored, very fast and tend to post alot, just because its something to do other than watch soap operas.Anyway, I just wanted to say that i AM NOT a vendor, and i'm pretty hurt that i was accused and that the estate got shot at because of me.So... please explain it to me. Am I not allowed to post anywhere? Is it like... a message board faux pas? I've reviewed before, but never really used a blog or message board. Although if the criticism is this harsh on the knot, i don't know if posting is for me. Are there any friendly people out there?

So you have no opinions about anything wedding related besides your venue? I call bullsh!t. Also, have your friend explain the difference btwn blogging and a message board.
