anyone know an organist?

I am getting married at St. Nicholas in Lexington and they don't have an organist there. They actually don't even know if their organ is working.Does anyone know of an organist that will come to my church? And possibly even bring a portable organ with them? Thanks!

I do!  I can't remember his name, but he plays for a church in Waltham (he's young).  He played for my friend's wedding in Pelham NH (he had his own keyboard).  He has his master's, if I remember correctly, I think from London!  I will email my friend and get back to you!

Brian Pierce is playing at my wedding. He's fantastic. Based out of Marshfield. Email me at lmlacross at comcast dot net if you'd like his number.

George White is the organist for the Unitarian/Universalist Church of Reading, and is amazing. I don't know if he would play at another church - if you go to the UUCR's website, his wife Ruth is the wedding coordinator for the church and could let you know.

I have two friends that are extremely talented, award winning organists.  They're based in Southern Connecticut, but one is from the Springfield area.  If you're interested, I could put feelers out and see if they would be willing to play for a Boston are wedding.  They're both playing at my wedding next spring. The Springfield, MA based one has a website, with clips to which you can listen.  http://www.christopherhoulihan.com/Christopher_Houlihan_-_Concert_Organist.htmlAlso, I sing with the choir at Trinity Church Boston, and our organists are really really good.  I would highly recommend reaching out to them to see if they would work with you.  Their names are Michael Kleinschmidt and Richard Webster.  http://www.trinitychurchboston.org

My dad is the one who is an organist. He loves doing weddings, if you want some more information you can e-mail me and I can pass you along to him! mariekekristin at gmail dot com. He lives in Arlington and has been playing the organ for almost 50 years.

Oh and he has an extremely nice keyboard that he uses to practice here at the house that he could bring to the church. He also fixes organs so he could look into that for them if they were interested.
