I went to a wedding recently where the bride and groom put their Unity Candle in one of those wide vases, and had their bridal party take turns pouring sand into the bottom (before they lit it) to symbolize the love and "support" they got from their community. It was absolutely beautiful -- plus, it gave the bridal party a specific reason to be on stage. I don't want to completely steal their idea, but I would love to give my bridal party a specific role in the ceremony. Does anyone have any ideas?
