How did/will you handle...

...Great Aunt Margaret's hot pink lipstick if she goes to kiss you on the cheek? Do you just say to heck with it and let her plant one on you? Do you smoothly turn your face away so you have an "air kiss"? I know it's random but I thought of this at my makeup trial and am curious. I have been envisioning big pink puckered lips coming at me the past few days. We're doing a receiving line at the church and I don't want to worry about cleaning off kiss marks before the formal pictures.

Ha, I can't remember the last time someone kissed me and made actual contact with my skin except for FI. Maybe use Wet Ones or a makeup remover cloth?  it's shouldn't take off too much if it's just your cheek.

Employ one of your bridesmaids to stand nearby and keep an eye on you, with some kleenex handy. Chances are good it wont happen anyway. People get really awkward when they have to kiss you. Youre standing there, in a white gown and a full skirt, wearing more makeup then they have probably ever seen you wear (if youre like me) and youre wearing a veil. Most people will give you a cheek to cheek air kiss, I think. And if Aunt Mags is that determined, the BM can handle it quickly once Auntie has moved through the line.My biggest problem on the wedding day was people hugging my hair and veil. Thank God for hairspray is all I have to say.

Correction: my biggest problem on the wedding day was NOT the situation with the hair. Maybe just in the receiving line. Hehe. Hey I just realized my ticker says 1 day until the weekend. woop woop.

I reminded my mom (who always does this) "air kisses only" after the bride makeup went on.

Yay weekend! That sounds like a good plan. Aunt Margs is the only one I know who might do it, but I know for a fact she wears that lipstick and lays it on thick. Eek!
