Where to buy Bridesmaid dresses?

Hi Ladies!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

I have just started the Bridesmaid dress search and wondering if anyone could recommend some places in Boston that have a big selection?  My bridesmaids and I spent Saturday at Worcester and found one place which was great but was disappointed with Davids Bridal, any suggestions?

My BMs and I went to L'Elite, Flair, and Bella Bridesmaids. The girls ended up liking a dress at Bella Bridesmaids and they bought them online at Netbride and ended up saving $100 each on their dresses.

I haven't purchased bridesmaids dresses yet (should probably get on that!) but had a great experiences at Flair and L'Elite.

If you're willing to go outside of Boston a little check out precious memories in Malden.  They have a very large selection and if you call ahead of time (once I even called the morning of) they are pretty good about just letting you pick through the dresess yourselves.  They are around to answer any questions you have, but they don't hound or pressure you.  It was very fun when I went with my bridesmaids we honestly pulled out about 20-30 (some just for the comedic value, which they knew we were doing and just laughed about it).

My BM's are going to be getting their dresses at Precious Memories too. I got my dress there and had a great experience so it was a no brainer for me...plus they each get a discount since my dress is from there!

I'm MOH for my sister's wedding - and we got our dresses from Gianna's in Stoneham.  We had a great experience there!

We had the same experience that Rockstar had at Precious Memories, since my sister had gotten her dress at Gianna's, we all got a discount on our BM dresses.

    Good luck!  :)

Bridal Reflections in Watertown. Anita has a hundred dresses there, and absolutely the best prices. However, it is not a fancy salon, she runs the shop out of her house.

I got mine at Allegria in Belmont, they have this designer, who I loved.

My BMs got theirs at J Crew-- they have all the styles in the Chestnut Hill location, and you can try most of them on even if you don't have an appointment. We also looked at L'Elite-- just ok, I thought; and Bella Bridesmaids, which I really liked but was too $$$. Bella had a less typical selection, just a handful of nice designers really. The sales girl was super nice and helpful.

The J Crew gowns that we found were a bit too expensive for what my bridesmaids were willing to pay. We found very nice dresses from an online store called Pearl's Place that has all the good brands and they deliver on time. They had sizing charte that were accurate for the brand and mailed them fast. I will post photos after the wedding they are a dark red.

I'm going to pipe in and say no to Flair as I had a very bad experience there. All my girls were measured there and they were all measured wrong. All the dresses were too small and had to be let out with fabric added. These were $300 dollar dresses! They turned out fine in the end luckily but with very minimal help from the shop! I had to contact the designer personally to get extra fabric and ideas on how to let out this dress out with it minimally showing! The designer was very helpful though! But basically an almost heart attack I didn't need!
