A check, with a but... Where can I rent suits?

We've decided that we want to use suits for the wedding party instead of tuxes. I prefer the look of suits, and I though it would be more practical for the guys to walk away with something they can keep and use again rather than return it to the store.

Last night, FI and I went and found him a suit at Men's Wearhouse. Not cheap, by any means, but it's the one we liked the most and it's a pretty all-purpose suit. The problem is that I don't think any of the GM will be able to afford to buy a suit. One was even unsure about spending $75-100 for a tux rental (kill me now). FMIL and I even looked at mall department stores and the suits there weren't much cheaper.

Does anyone know where they can rent a suit/buy one for less than $150? They don't have to match FI's, just be the same color. We are going to call MH tomorrow to see if they rent suits out.

FMIL also had the idea of having them wear the same dress slacks, shirt, and vest, but I'm not crazy about that. I want them to be wearing some kind of jacket, the wedding is not that informal. I will take any suggestions if you have 'em!

What if you found a store that had a buy one, get one free sale and the guys split the cost? I just saw a commercial on tv that was for K&G Warehouse but I am not sure if you are near one of those stores. Hopefully you can find something that works for everyone!

I second Classic Tuxedo.  They didn't have a huuuge selection of suits to choose from, but they had what we were looking for and it was really convenient for the groomsmen.  GL!

Our GM bought their suits at MW during a 2 for $300 deal.  MH suit was much mre than that but the colors matched fine.  The GM provided their own white shirt and shoes and we bought the ties.  Good luck!

we are renting the suits from giblees in danvers.  They have a great selection and the suits are nice.  They are all on location.  We got a price of 120 which included the shirt and shoes.  I skipped the vest.  The store is very nice and at first thought the prices would be outrageous.  pleasantly surprised!!!  highly recommend checking them out

Thanks everyone! I had thought this would be impossible.. but tomorrow FI is going to call on my list I just made him and hopefully we can get this taken care of. Although he just informed me that one GM doesn't have a car and won't come to us from Beverly...

I would also try Joseph Banks.  They always have deals every week and a lot of the time its a $99 suit sale or a buy one get one free.  So you could arrange a deal between GM's (Buy 2 suits and split the cost).  They have a good selection from what I've heard and have really great customer service.  Just a thought!

You could try Kohl's too.  FFIL got his suit on sale there last year.
