Moving our wedding to 2011 but really happy!

So our original plan was to get married in July 31st this year, we'd picked a location and started meeting with vendors last fall and then in January James (FI) got laid off. It's been so stressful but our parents have been great. And we were really struggling about what to do and so about 6 weeks ago we decided to postpone the wedding until next year. And then last week FI got a new job!!! I am SO happy right now I just want to burst. 

We're going to move the wedding to next year, June 11th, 2011 to be precise! And having gone part way through the wedding planning process I'm planing to do some things a little differently this time! My parents have been OK with some of the deposits being lost, luckily smaller amounts (and our venue was great, they're going to move the deposit amount to an anniversary party for my grandparents). A really close friend of my Mom has offered up her home in Rye (hello stunning outdoor location!!) and so:

Location - check

Dress - check

Florist - check 

And I'll now be working on:

Hair & Makeup

Photographer

Videographer

Caterers

Music - undecided about band or DJ

Invitations

Maybe Save the Dates

I am just so happy right now I wanted to share. It's been really tough sort of putting things on hold (and I've been lurking here/occasionally posting and being sad!). Thanks for listening!!

Congratulations!!!  I had to move my wedding to June 2011 too but for different reasons.  Sometimes it is just makes sense even if it is hard to wait:)
