Looking for a Nice and Affordable Venue in the Methuen area

We are looking for a venue with some character and personality that lends itself to a formal environment.  We are looking at around 75 Guests and just want nice food, a place to dance and a memorable evening.  All this on a tight budget is tough, but I am sure there are a few great options out there.

How much would you like to spend per person? (This info will help the other girls here give you good suggestions.)

I would love to keep it around $0.00!!!    Just Kidding...

But between $45 and $65 per meal would be better than I have seen...  Lower would also be good!  Sealed

We are having the reception at Castleton....probably like less than 50 a person.  We chose two meals....apple cranberry chicken for 34 a person and prime rib for 38.  then 2.50 per person for toast.  Plus we have decided on passed hor'devoures for cocktail hour.  It really isn't badly priced and Dawn is great to work with.

We are having our wedding at Groveland Fairways. The whole place is beautiful and the people have been great to work with so far. The meals are about $30-$40 pp. and the food is AMAZING.

One sister and cousin were married at DiBurros, the other was married at Lenzis.  Both had excellent food!! However, if I remember, DiBurro's was kind of pricey??

I went to a wedding at DiBurros and the food was AWESOME.  My friend who got married did the whole thing for under 10K and had at least 100 people there.

I think with Diburros, it depends on what you do for food.  I have been to many weddings there and it is great food.  With 75 people, you would most likely use the smaller room. It's worth looking into.

Oh yeah and my reception is at Castleton...the prices aren't bad but they don't do packages so you have to get a cake elsewhere and so on.  Worth it though for the view of the pond.

What about Michael's Function Hall in Haverhill?  I haven't been there, but my cousin organized an event there and she said the food was great!   The prices on their site look great, too! :)

We're getting married at Harris' Pelham Inn. A good friend of ours is the cook there.
