We did ours in the Public Garden and then walked around to random places. If you want to check them out, let me know.

Any of the parks, Beacon Hill, the North End, by the Harbor/Wharf, the Esplanade, at the beach, Canobie Lake Park, any place that is special to you & your FI.  I've seen cute ones apple picking, hanging out around cool cars, at a local ball park, in a field, at the library, around the city.  Basically you can go for different looks, and get great shots just about anywhere.  Just pick someplace you will be comfortable, and it's nice if it's someplace that is special to the two of you (like where you had a romantic date, etc).

    Good luck :)

I say just pick a spot that means something to the both of you. A good photographer should be able to work with any background to make the pictures look good. We're going to get ours done in the North End, including Paul Revere Mall since that's where we got engaged.
