What about reviews of the Black Swan CC? Basically I have like 5 or 6 different places that we are looking, so it's nice to get some reviews/feedback from people before I look at them--maybe I can narrow it down to 3 or 4.

I loved the Black Swan.  The women there have been there for over 10 years and are very informative.  My mother went to Keons and said the food is to die for.  The minimums are really low you can easily meet them.  The rooms are nice.  I loved the larger room.  Its also nice that they have the patio.  The only thing I didn't like was the ceremony area and the alternative if it rained.

Overall I give an A

The only thing is its a tiny bit hard to find.

I looked at the Black Swan as a possible venue, and I really liked it.  I live locally and had been to many events there when it was still the Georgetown Country Club.  I opted not to have my wedding there for the sole reason that I was worried about their financial solvency as a new business.  When the GCC closed, many people were left in the lurch.  Although I have heard great things about the food and the functions rooms are very pretty, I personally wasn't comfortable  taking the risk of booking when the business had just re-opened.  The Haverhill Country Club is close by and is similarly priced.  Good luck in your search!
