Church in downtown Boston that doesnt charge a lot for ceremony?

Hello -
I am hoping to get married in a church in downtown Boston and I am looking for a church that will do the cermemony. does anyone know of any that charge under 1K? North End are would be great. I am finding some that charge 2500 ++. I just cant pay that when I can have my ceremony at the reception site for $500. I'd much rather give that 500 to the church and have a Catholic Ceremony.

Honestly, I don't think you will find a church that low in downtown Boston.  (I could be wrong though.)  Ours was $2000 and that seemed to be pretty average when we were looking.  I remember the BU chapel was lower - still over $1000 though - and they could perform a Catholic ceremony there, but I went there for law school and it may be more expensive for non-alumni.  Have you considered looking on the outskirts of the city at all (Watertown, Dorchester, Medford, JP, Allston, Brighton, etc.)?

I think that Our Lady of Victories in Bay Village (near Back Bay) was cheaper.

    How about in Charlestown...St. Mary's?
