Dance Lessons in Rockland or Westchester

Did anyone take dance lessons before their wedding in Rockland/Westchester?
May I ask where you went, how many lessons you took, how much it cost, whether you liked it or not and whether the lessons were group or private?

we are taking lessons at arthur murray dance studio in yonkers on central ave. we loved our instructor, ed. we paid ~$400 for 4 private lessons plus a consultation meeting (which is kinda like a lesson) and unlimited group classes. we haven't learned a step-by-step dance, but we have learned steps that we can do throughout our first dance song. we practice to our song, and my FI leads the dance .. he includes all the steps we've learned.  when you purchase a private lesson package you are able to attend all the group lessons that the studio offers. they have one every night of the week, with the exception of sunday.  

in my opinion, it was a great use of money and totally put me at ease for our first dance. we may even continue with it after our wedding.

We did Arthur Murray in White plains...same as pp said group lessons are included when you purchase individuals.  Our instructor was Rosa...she is awesome.  We actually got a special for only $200 with FIVE indivdual lessons so see if they are still running that??
We are having a lot of fun...my only regret is that we should have started sooner, as we only started about a month ago!

We did Arthur Murray in White Plains for our wedding dance as well.  the price from pp of 200/five lessons is a great deal, jump on that if you can.  I can not recommend it enough, and also take advantage of the group lessons.  We both enjoyed it so much, we are still taking lessons one year later.
