Wedding at Colonnade-Recommendations

Hello!

I am curious if anyone has feedback on the Colonnade for the food and also  recommendations for the best spot for pictures. They gave us a list of preferred vendors for the cake-has anyone heard any feedback on Johnny Cakes.

We didn't get married at the Colonnade but got married at a hotel very nearby, and we took our photos at the grounds of the Christian Science church (around the reflection pool, arches, fountain, etc.) and they turned out beautifully.

I'm getting married at the Colonnade in August and we're planning on doing our pictures in front of the Christian Science Center reflecting pool too. We're having the ceremony at a church in Newton, so if we have time, we may try to make another stop at Columbus Park as well, but I'm not sure yet.

As for food, I have my tasting June 10th, so I can let you know after that! But, I will say that I was really really impressed with Chef Nick when we met him and it was their service and attention to detail that really helped us make the decision to have the reception there.
