NWR-Donating xmas gifts?

I know Old Navy used to have a program where around Xmas you can go in and get the name of a family who needs clothes for their kids and you buy them for Xmas gifts. I don't think they do this anymore, but does anyone know of any other program like this? Either clothes or toys?

FI and I donate each year to Child's Play, which donate books, toys and movies to children in hospitals.

I think a lot of the shopping malls have a giving tree like that (I feel like I've seen it at Burlington Mall in the past--set up near Macy's/Lord & Taylor maybe?).  My company does this every year too, so I normally just do it at work.  I feel like we usually do it through United Way.  They match each company up with a local charity, give a list of different kids names, ages, sizes, and what they want/need.  I think we're doing it for MSPCC - Lawrence this year.  You could also contact Big Brother/Big Sister or the Salvation Army (they do "Adopt a Family").
