last quesetion of the night- promise :) Veil?

Ok.. I will be honest.. veils generally are not my thing. But it means a LOT to my mom.... I really cant bring myself to do a long veil. I want to do my hair down... does anyone have any photos of how a birdcage veil looks with a down do?

This is my dress... would a flower and very small birdcage or just a flower look ok? I have a LOT of hair...

i love birdcage veils (i had one myself)... i bought the veil from somethingbold.com  they have a great gallery of a bunch of different real brides: http://somethingbold.com/RealBrides.htm

if you're looking for a cool fascinator, i bought mine on etsy from brendasbridalveils http://www.etsy.com/shop/brendasbridalveils

    good luck!!

I bought a birdcage veil and loved the look of it online but it made my head look very round and chunky. Not quite what I wanted to look like on my wedding day haha. Be sure to try on different lengths of birdcage veils and try different angles. I ended up with a beautiful mantilla lace veil that I never thought I would want but it's perfect! I wasn't a veil girl either but I am now!

Those are some gorgeous veil shots. Now I am worried if I should get one!

Another option might be to get a veil on a headband but have the veil be removable. Then you can wear it for the ceremony but take it off later.
