I saw a few months back you talked about getting your seating chart printed through alphagraphics....

Thank you!!

They were really helpful although we did not end up even using the chart we had printed! They were really good about walking us through the process and they worked with us via email to send drafts back and forth to make sure that we had all the dimensions right for it. My H used photoshop and basically made a document that was the size that we were using (24 by 32 I think?) and we sort of built it up from there, which was helpful because then everything was porportioned right. I'm sure you could do the same with a similar program. Even like powerpoint or publisher if you have Windows. Anyway, they were super fast too. I think it ended up being 40 dollars or so, for a mid quality type paper. Try emailing them and getting a quote for the size and paper quality, they were really fast about emailing back.

But, on the other hand, we ended up changing our mind and wanting to do something different and this time we had the same type of document printed through Walgreens (Shutterfly does it too) as basically a poster size photo print. and the quality was just as good but at half the price. I'd say look into that, as long as you plan on framing it some how because the paper is obviously thin-ish. You can order them by mail, but some Walgreens will print a poster for you in an hour which is awesome. I know there is one that does it in Lexington, but the website will list them. I'd say give it a try if you're not sure, you can't really go wrong for under 20 dollars like that.

And, in the end, 6 days before my wedding, I decided I wanted small place cards pinned to apples instead of a chart all together. I'm a nut.

    Thanks for the info!!!

I will check out both options you mentioned. I actually have photoshop so that shouldn't be too hard. I will just have to make sure all the proportions are right.

And I think cards pinned on apples is really cute!!!

Thanks! It was a last minute choice. I don't know, the way our tent was set up I felt all this worry that the chart wouldn't get seen, and then the easel wasn't quite big enough to hold the chart without me worrying that since we were outside if the wind blew it would fall over. Plus the apples matched my color scheme :)
