have you been to Kimball Farms in Westford, MA

We are having a second wedding with many kids and were thinking of Kimball Farm in Westford. We went the other day and played mini golf and had lunch which was pretty good and then did the batting cages and arcade games.
Have you been there? What did you think?

I love Kimball's!!  I've never been there for an event, but I've seen the place grow and expand over the years (I grew up in the town next door).

That would be cool - do they do weddings? I went there for a "team building" event last Summer and it was fun. They have bumper boats and the black rasberry ice cream is to die for. They did a cook out for our group - maybe 60 people? I remember the food being good

I guess the only downer would be that this is SUCH a weather dependent place - like if the weather wasn't great I don't think there's anything to do?

Ice cream is fabulous there! I grew up in Chelmsford and now live in Groton. I was planning on getting my fix soon <: I wasn't aware they did that but that would be fun  to have there!

I have been there for a large company outting.  It is a lot of fun and just like everyone else said, the ice cream is delicious.  BUT is very weather dependent AND it is always busy on nice days.  We weren't able to get near the mini golf when we were there.
    Great idea though =)

FI and I have done the chip and putt there. He grew up in the town over and went there or Sullivans for ice cream (yum). It sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

Kimball's was a staple of my childhood, though I generally went to the one at Bates' Farm in Carlisle, unless I was viisiting my aunt and uncle who live in Westford.  Going to take my FI there when we visit my folks this summer.

Mmm I love their ice cream!  I grew up nearby, and it used to just be an ice cream stand :-)  Agree with PP's - it is really weather dependant.

YES--Kimball's is awesome!  I have planned like 5 company outings there over the past 7 years (including 1 this summer)--the staff is awesome to work with, the planning process is really easy, they take care of EVERYTHING, and I always get a ton of compliments from employees (it's everyone's favorite event of the year).

    I can definitely recommend them!

I think I am giving up this idea. It is becoming expensive to add in the arcade and batting cages. Also, we were there this weekend and it was packed. Took us almost 3 hours to play mini golf. If my reception iday s croweded like that it would be a bust. Who wants to spend the entire party on line. Plus that defeats the purpose of paying for "unlimited" stuff. There were also a bunch of tents all aquished together and I can't see how the events would be separated at all.
My bubble was a burst when I saw it in action. Sux.
Now I have to think of something else... any other fun places around?
