POB Update

Hi Ladies,

I got some good news today and figured I would share. POB sent me an email to let me know that my dress is in (a few weeks early) and that I could come in to try it on and schedule my first fitting. As stated in my contract, the remainder of my balance is due within 10 days (which I knew). They also went on to say that I did NOT need to pick up my dress and that they would in fact keep my dress until my wedding.!

They must have been getting so many complaints and push back that it looks like all of us POB brides that purchased gowns BEFORE their new "Pick up your dress when it comes in and bring it back for your fittings rule" must be grandfathered in.

Yay! I'm so glad to hear they are treating their brides better! I'd like to think I helped this new movement!

Oh, yay!  I got a voicemail message from POB the other day saying I needed to go in to pay my balance (:P), and I was dreading the thought of having to pick up my dress as well (esp since the wedding isn't until June!).  Good to know that if they try to pull the "you need to take your dress with you" card, I can fight back.  Thanks, ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
