Unique/differennt bridal shower ideas on South Shore?

I am MOH in best friend's upcoming May wedding.  I am working on planning the shower now.  The bride didn't have too much opinion on what she wants one way or another except that she wants it to be different (i.e. not like everyone elses).  Does anyone have suggestions for anything unique/different from venue to favors to decor?  Anything will help!  We need to keep it on the south shore-Kingston, Plymouth, Marshfield, Pembroke area.

    I don't know specific places on the South Shore... But I completely understand wanting a different kind of shower....
    What about planning a cocktail party type shower instead of a traditional breakfast/brunch Shower?

    You could rent out a section of a bar, or some restaurants have lounge type rooms you can rent and then you could have passed Hors and a Stationary display or two and maybe a passed Signature cocktail. It would be more like a girls night out type of shower.
    I know thats what I want for a shower lol
