Show me your bedding from your registry

I can't decide on a bedding set. Help me come up with some ideas please!

We are getting this one from Macys. It took a while to find one that FI and I both liked.

Ours is from Macy's too...kind of busy for some but we have red walls in our bedroom and didn't want to repaint )

We got this set from Crate & Barrel.  Hard to see in the pic, but here's the link:

...I much prefer having a duvet and cover to a comforter.  I like being able to easily wash the duvet cover, without worrying about washing the duvet/comforter itself too many times. Anyway, just something to think about.  My favorite duvets are from the Company Store, but Macy's carries them too.

It's so pretty in person. It wasn't at the Macy's at Downtown Crossing, so FI and I basically registered for it based on the photo. When I was at my parents' house two weekends ago, I saw it IRL at their Macy's and I was so happy we picked it. :o)

We also registered for the same one as JBs--I just did it, originially we just had sheets as we have a nice duvet from Restoration Hardware, but its predominantly white and starting to look a bit dingy.

We registered for two bedding sets actually...I guess we are kind of greedy! One set for the guest room and one set for our bedroom. The tan set is from C&B and the black set is from Macy's.

Was anyone else as shocked as I was at the prices of bedding?  We couldn't find anything we liked at Macy's except a CK set called Maldives, but it was $200 for a duvet cover, ON SALE!  That's ridiculous to me for a giant pillow case.  If I could just find fabric, I could make it myself!

    Okay, sorry, rant over.  :)

We ended up finding a great duvet insert at TJ Maxx for $50 so we just bought it.  We registered for this duvet cover from C&B but I haven't seen it in stores, so I'm not even sure if they still carry it except maybe online:

I thought C&B had a good selection with decent prices (still high, but not  insane).

Oh, we also bought a sheet set on clearance at BBB since it was a really good price.  Prices for those were also pretty crazy, so we just buy the stuff when we see a good sale.  But then, we have a pretty small family, so we're not expecting much of our registry to get purchased.

Going through the same problem right now! We just got ourselves a tempurpedic (our wedding gift to one another, a couple of months early!) and it's a different sized bed than the last one so we need new sheets and blankets. There was one I fell in love with at bed bath and beyond but it's $350 just for basically a duvet, shams, and sheets! Then you have to buy all the other things separately... even the lower costing bed sets are expensive.  Any other good places for bed sets aside from Macys and BB&B?

Tropicanha: If you don't need to register for it, I have found pretty good stuff at Marshall's and TJ Maxx.  It is kind of hit or miss, but you can find nice quality sets for MUCH cheaper.  We got a Ralph Lauren duvet insert, king size for $50 and we love it!  I found a duvet cover for $60.  Their comforter sets are about half the price of Macy's, about $100 I think.

We've gotten sheets from there before that were pretty good (Calvin Klein, king set, $40) and BBB had some awesome sheets on clearance recently (Hotel Collection, 600 TC) for about $50 as well.  Those are the nicest sheets we've ever had!
