Venue suggestions??

Hey there -
I'm racking my brain trying to find a venue for our wedding. We're open to pretty much anywhere if we can find the feel we want. I really want a resort type of place where everybody will want to stay with us for the weekend. We want to do a Friday wedding so that we can still see our guests around the pool/grounds for the rest of the weekend. Did anybody have a wedding like this in the New England/Northeast region???? Any help or suggestions are much appreciated!!! Thanks everybody! :)

Bourndale Function Facility sent me some information.  I'm not sure if it is resort like because I never went to check it out.  They can accomodate up to 200 ppl and everyone can stay there and they can give you the exclusive use of the place.  www.capefunctions.com

I am here to put in a shameless plug for my awesome venue on Martha's Vineyard. The vineyard is seriously the most romantic place on earth. We got married at the Beach Plum Inn in Menemsha and it was fantastic. You get passes to the very private Lucy Vincent Beach and have access to plenty of golf, tennis, beach, and bonfire stuff. The food is award winning and there is tons of private housing on site. Pics in my MRS bio below if you are interested.

I didn't really look into it much but from what I saw it looked really nice: mansioninthewoods.com

We just returned from a weekend at the Chatham Bars Inn, in Chatham...  It's very pricey, but absolutely gorgoues.  The service is second to none....  If I only had 1 daughter and 1 wedding to pay for as opposed to 3/3, I would have loved to have been able to have their wedding there.  Good luck!

Commandant's House in Charlestown is beautiful and right in the navy yard. tons to do in the area of course.
Lyman EState is in Waltham right outside of  Boston and its a beautiful historic home.
