EKOBS and October10bride - seamstress

I was reading a post regarding Ekobs having her dress turned into a mermaid style. I am thinking of changing my full a-line to a straight a-line.  Can you tell me who Chris is?  Also, if either or both of you could send me an email with Chris' pricing that would be greatly appreciated.  My email is jislieb at hotmail dot com.

    Thank you for the info....got it!  Ekobs, I am curious as to what you had done....did you go from one style dress to mermaid?  How did everything turn out?

    I know that she is seeing Chris on Friday (at least I'm pretty sure) and I believe she is also having it taken in and made into more of a mermaide style.

    yup, October is right!  My dress is a drop waist a-line.  I talked to Chris over the phone and she said she had done that before.  I will report back on Friday (or Saturday) and let you all know how it went and anything else  I can tell you!

    I just schedued my fitting for Friday too!  Mine is at 2:30pm....what time is yours Ekobs? I guess I will see what Chris has to say depending on my dress :-)

    Ekobs - I missed you!  Chris is great.  How did your fitting go? She is slimming down my a-line dress so that I don't have to wear a full petticoat.  She put me at ease :-) 

    Bethluise - do you still need Chris'  info?

    I will post again once I have my next fitting.

    Oh, gosh, I absolutely loved her! She is putting buttons on my dress to replace corset back, taking the hem down so it hits the floor, converting it to mermaid style and adding cups.  I was FLOORED when she told me the price.  I almost feel guilty paying that little.  And such a nice person, and you could tell she knew her stuff.
