Dance Lessons

Hi Boston Brides! I am looking to sing up for dance lessons in the Waltham, Watertown, Brighton area.  Any recommendations?

    Hamby Studio out of Waltham.
FI and I did private lessons with them. They hold the lessons at a Temple in Waltham right off Main Street.

We have learned a lot and it has been a lot of fun.

We also did lessons at Hamby Studio in Waltham and had a great experience.  We brought in our first dance song on a cd and they recommended the type of dance we should do and taught us moves.  I liked it because they didn't choreograph a specific dance, they just taught us 5 or 6 different steps and made sure we knew them really well and then we could put them together how we wanted to.  it made it a little less stressful and i think more natural looking for our dance since we weren't thinking and concentrating the whole time about what the next step was!  The prices were reasonable too, I thought - it was $350 for 5 lessons or $75/lesson if you didn't want to do 5.

I think Cambridge, Newton & Boston all offer Continuing/Adult Education classes where you can take "dance at your wedding" classes.  I also think there's a studio in Belmont off Trapelo Road.  We didn't do dancing at our wedding, so I'm not much help, LOL, but those are just some ideas.  ;)
Yay! Finally able to update my signature :)
