wedding band shopping this weekend-advice needed

My FI and I are going to look for wedding bands this weekend and hopefully find something we both like. I've heard on the knot before that Serjeo is amazing. Anyone use him? Also, does anyone else have other recommendations? I heard on air that Barkmakian jewelers was having a sell but I looked at the reviews online and they were a little worrisome. Any advice would be appreciated.

We didn't end up buying anything at Barmakian (because we didn't buy anything at all- my husband is still wearing his dad's band that he borrowed for the ceremony because he couldn't decide on anything.....yeah, I'm not still irritated about that or anything) BUT we did think they had the best selection and prices of most places we looked.

We just got our bands from Barmakians and they were FANTASTIC to work with. We worked with Carleen and she was amazing.  I'm actually using my grandmothers wedding band for my band and we had them put some diamonds in it.  It looks amazing..I started crying when they showed it to me! They were great! GL

One thing we realized we never considered before we went was if we wanted out bands to match or not. We went with certain visions and decided last minute on plain matching ones. Awwww gag

I don't know about the other places mentioned.  However, my FI got my ring from DePrisco downtown, and they are having a wedding band show the week of the 13th to the 20th. They were great with doing my engagement ring as my FI had his grandmother's center stone, and they matched it perfectly with smaller diamonds that were added to the side. It might be worth checking out since they'll have soooo many bands.  Good luck!

I mentioned it before, and it is a drive away, but Sharvash in Worcester is closing. All their stock rings are on sale for big discounts, the standard size is 6.5. They don't sell men's rings.

Both my e-ring and wedding band are from Barmakian.  My H's band is also from there as well.  I thought they were seriously wonderful to work with.  They are attentive and really concerned about what looks best on you and finding the right style-- it helps they don't work on commission. 

Barkmakian's wedding band sale is this weekend.  We were able to get my band custom made for probably over $1200 off!  Maybe even more, I forget now but it was a great deal.  We got H's band for $400 (it was gold with diamonds in it too).  I thought their prices for this event were amazing!  We wouldn't of been able to afford our bands otherwise but this sale was awesome! 

I honestly suggest at least trying Barmakian because of the event this weekend.  It doesn't hurt to try!

My fiance and I got our wedding bands from Serjeo, I can't say enough wonderful things about him honestly.  If you do want to visit him this weekend, I'd recommend calling today and making an appointment.  His prices are great, he's easy to work out payment plans with, and designs everything custom for you.  We were referred to him by our friends who also got their wedding bands from him.  We all Serjeo!!  Good luck!!

If you are around March 26 to March 28, Long's Jewelers is having their Annual Wedding Band Weekend at the Burlington location across from the mall. The store literally transforms into wall-to-wall wedding rings. While you are there, you can also enter to win a shopping spree to Jordan's Furniture, a private dinner for 10 at The Capital Grille, and more! There are even unlimited cake tastings from Konditor Meister.
Wedding Band Weekend at Long's Jewelers is definitely the best time of year to buy wedding rings and well worth the visit!

FI's ring was made by an artist in WA state--we ordered it online.  Mine was custom made by Gary at Persona Jewelers in Kenmore Square--he made my engagement ring too at the same time.  He was great to work with.  They have lots of beautiful pieces to choose from, and he specializes in custom pieces.  They carry designs by different artists as well as his pieces.  I would definitely recommend checking them out.  (pics in my bio of our rings)

I also heard that Macy's is having a fine jewelry sale this weekend.

We went downtown to the jewelry buildings and just walked around.  Note: their hours tend to run more towards weekdays -- no-one is open on Sunday.  Saturday mid-day has a lot open, though.

We had a great experience at Longs.  Longs also has a wedding band weekend sale 3/26 - 3/28 at the Burlington location.  We got ours during last year's sale.
