Poll: Your favorite wedding dessert

Our venue is letting us pick four mini desserts, and we have a say in what they are, meaning, we can just tell them what we want and they'll make it.  They claim their chefs can do anything.!

So, I'd love to hear what was the best wedding dessert you've had.  We'd like to do something classy and fancy.  We are not having a wedding cake.

Thanks!

At our wedding we had chocolate flourless cake, flan, and an almond cake with raspberry topping--YUMMMMMMM!

I also love mini key lime pie, apple crisp, creme brulee (sp?), or baked Alaska!

Mmm... wow that sounds so fun!  I went to a wedding that had chocolate mousse in martini glasses, layered with like cake or cookie crumbs or something.  YUM!  That was delicious!

I also like key lime pie and mini-cheesecakes or little fruit tartes.  But I love dessert, so truthfully I'd probably eat anything you put out!  I like creme brulee, but I think it is best when freshly brulee-ed (is that a word?) and I doubt they coudl do that on a large scale for a wedding.

For our dessert course we had a duet plate of tiramisu and berries with torched sabayon (both of which would make great mini desserts).

I might suggest to choose different types- like a chocolate one (maybe a mouse), one vanilla, one cheese (like cheesecake), one fruity, one cake like (I love bread pudding), etc. I am also a big creme brulee fan!

Tiramisu or Creme Brulee... both are just gorgeous done in mini portions!

I also love assortment platters of mini french and italian pastries like canolis, petite fours, eclairs etc
