Rehearsal dinner venue to rent out for catered meal?

Hi everyone!
We are thinking of having a clambake for our rehearsal dinner and actually have family friends who will cater it for us. The only problem is where to have it. My finace and his parents really want to do Boston, but we cannot think of any venues to rent out in the city that will let us cater (about50 guests).

Any suggestions?

What about the Commandant's House in Charlestown?

I don't know too much about the venue but I know its pretty and right on the harbor in Charlestown and you need to bring in your own catering.  Just a thought!

I was going to suggest the Commandant's House as well. They were having a RD there when I went to visit and it was set up really nice!!

Also, the Museum of Science may let you bring in outside catering. They have a room with great views over the Charles
