On-site Hair and Make-up

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for on-site hair and make-up?  The wedding is on Thompson Island and we really don't want to have our hair done then take the boat ride back to the island-what if it is windy and rainy-disaster!!

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

We hired Wedding Tresses and thought they were worth every penny :-)

    Thanks, were they really pricey?

Caitlin Murphy!  She did hair and makeup for my e-pics, which were in a field after a rainstorm (super humid and sticky).  The hair and makeup lasted the whole day.  Also, as a bonus, she's a really nice person.

I am using Special Event Beauty, they get good recs on here.

You can also check out vendor reviews on Wedding Wire.

I am unsure what the extra travel cost would be to go to that island, but you should def ask about that upfront before you do a trial with anyone.

I am using I DO. I just had my trial and was so happy. They have done my sisters wedding a few friends as well. I know they travel because they are coming to my moms the day of the wedding. In my contract is says there is a 50$ travel fee. I have also heard good things about wedding tresses and special event beauty.

Thanks Ladies.  I just talked to I Do, she seems really nice and normal.  They are charging $75 for travel fees-not too bad since they will be stuck on an island and have to be boated back and forth. They seem the most reasonable.
