We had our tasting this past Thursday and everything was fantastic! SO happy with the quality of food and the presentation. We are getting married at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge by the way.
We are having 5 passed h'orderves, and a fruit, crudities, cheese, and cheese fondue reception station. We are finalizing the salads- our fathers and my FH loved the ceaser salad but I wanted something different. Our entree choices for our guests are borsin crusted filet mignon (it's just on the top so if they don't like borsin cheese they can easily remove it), pan seared halibut with saffron cream, and three apple caponata stuffed chicken. We are also having a late night menu consisting of assorted flatbread pizzas. I love food and wanted to make sure our guests don't go hungry.
And we had the last of our cake tastings yesterday. Included in our package is a wedding cake from Icing on the Cake, Monitillios, and Konditor Meister. We decided to go with Konitor Meister because we loved their cake the best. Our cake will be 4 tiered with a scroll design and fresh flowers. The flavors will be their Grand Marnier and Tiramisu.
Needless to say I had a week filled with food and wine and will need to hit the gym extra hard to compensate. So worth it though. And for some reason my wedding feels more real than ever which makes me really happy
