gifts for destination wedding

it's been a while.
I've never attended a destination wedding that I've had to fly to. I have a friend's wedding in Miami beach and I am not sure what to do for a gift. She is a good friend of mine. anyone know??? TIA ladies!

    You have two choices. Either, you mail the gift to their home before the wedding (so they don't have to worry about it coming while on the honeymoon) OR you bring cash/check to the wedding.

    I would probably just bring a card with cash/check inside that way they don't have to worry about getting boxed gifts home.

    Definitely a check.  Who wants a gift for their wedding?  I only give gifts for showers and then money for the actual wedding.

    Agreed check/cash is the way to go. No matter the location/proximity of the wedding I always bring a check anyways.
